It strengthens and ensures the continuity of agroecological and cultural production in the municipality of Olinda Nova do Maranhão, a city that is part of the CIP Baixada Maranhense Project, through funding for 20 community, family, and individual projects focused on the municipality's solidarity, green, and sustainable economy.

The Baixada Maranhense Community Institute (ICBM) is a community foundation. The Institute's mission is to create the material conditions for realizing dreams of transformation in vulnerable communities of the Baixada Maranhense region, through fundraising, strengthening community organizations, and donations that transform scarcity into abundance.
