about the mechanism
The Quilombola Mental Health Project involved twelve Quilombola communities in the Lower Tocantins Region. In addition to the central theme of the interventions, workshops and other activities were carried out to strengthen the communities' capacity for mobilization and civic participation in environmental, social, and climate issues. The initiative, a partnership between the Baobá Fund, CONAQ, Malungu/State of Pará, ARQIB, and Johnson & Johnson, reached approximately 6,000 people, including leaders, health workers, educators, and social workers.
